Project M, for example, will load from SD root projectm and Dolphin will need to launch Project M through appsprojectmboot.elf, NOT in the virtual SD card. Should I try downloading older versions of Hackmii and take the boot. The external files used for the homebrew app must be stored within sd.raw and the homebrew app itself (boot.elf or boot.dol) must exist outside of it for Dolphin to load.

So do I need to download a different kind of boot.elf? I have deleted all the custom stages and have waited 24 hours and all that and it just does't seem to like the Hackmii boot. Change directory here, and execute the ledapp. It doesnt matter where you keep the GeckoOS folder in the desktop, just make sure you have the gameconfig.txt, Codes folder and, just in case, the GeckoOS folder in their.

Testing on Hardware: Copy all of the images from ledappsystem\Debug\sdcard onto your SD card: Once booted, the SD card will be auto-mounted. project m boot.elf geckos dolphin mod You may get a white screen after skipping GeckoOS warning message (or after running GeckoOS if you disabled panic handlers). This will build the executable and create the boot image.
I assume it's the boot.elf or something since I tried the "hackless" version of Project M which is doing the same method almost and it works perfectly fine and boots up to the Project M menu. Select the system project, and click the hammer icon. just causes the system to not do anything and I end up having to unplug my Wii U. I checked the game support section first and couldn't find any mention of Project M so I hope I'm not breaking any rules by talking about it, but whenever I try to start up PM dolphin can handle the boot.elf just fine (including saving the VBI hook type) but when I hit play and it tries to load brawl and apply the codes and all that it freezes.
Even trying to exit out, restarting from the home menu, etc. So I followed every step in the guide on using Smash Stack to get the homebrew channel, but for some reason once I'm in stage builder it just plays the background music and doesn't load the boot. I know there's posts on here about this typical kind of thing, but I just thought I would share my troubles with getting homebrew channel on the vWii anyhow. EDIT: I solved the problem! I ended up using the Smash Stack that came with the hackless version of Project M (I assume it's Smash Stack at least) and it was able to load it up! Hopefully this will help anyone who was in the same boat as I was! Ps, get Project M here if you're interested My favorite mod to Brawl ever!!
